About the Position

Middle Python Developer (AI/ML Integrations)

We are looking for a Middle Python Developer with AI/ML integration experience to join Group107. You will work on Summa, a cloud-based platform that transforms how accounting firms and tax consultants in Israel operate - automating auditing, bookkeeping, tax reporting, and office management to cut operational hours by up to 80%. The product is live in production, approved by the Israel Tax Authority, and on a long-term roadmap toward global expansion. In this role you will integrate LLMs and machine learning into the platform, building AI-driven backend services that connect advanced technology with real user workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and AI-driven systems in Python, keeping them reliable, scalable, and secure in cloud environments.
• Integrate and operationalize Large Language Models (LLMs) in production, including OCR, document processing, and knowledge-extraction pipelines.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines using vector databases and unstructured data sources.
• Build and optimize ETL workflows and data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop and maintain APIs (REST, GraphQL) using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Implement AI agents, agent-to-agent (A2A) interactions, and tool-based reasoning workflows.
• Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to turn business requirements into technical solutions, and take part in code reviews and architecture discussions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Proven hands-on experience integrating LLMs into backend or production systems.
• Good understanding of RAG architecture, embeddings, vector databases, and semantic search.
• Experience with LLM observability tools (Langfuse, Arize Phoenix, or similar).
• Good knowledge of API development (REST, GraphQL).
• Experience with task orchestration (Temporal or Celery) and at least one message queue (NATS, Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Azure Service Bus).
• Practical experience with Azure.
• Experience with Docker / Docker Compose, Kubernetes or Terraform, Git, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Upper-Intermediate (B2)+ English level

Nice to Have

• Experience with OCR technologies and integrating OCR into AI-powered applications.
• Experience with LLM orchestration and agent frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangGraph), MCP, or multi-agent systems.
• Understanding of MLOps practices, model lifecycle management, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, or large-scale document-processing systems.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud.
• Experience in the fintech industry.
