Senior Business Analyst (TV Platform)

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst (TV Platform) to join our US-based ad-tech company in Poland, focusing on the TVB Linear TV Platform.

Responsibilities

• Translate business ideas into well-structured requirements.
• Formalize, document, and visualize business requirements.
• Leverage AI tools to support analysis and create documentation.
• Digest complex requirements and convert them into INVEST user stories.
• Coordinate requirements with internal and external customers.
• Interact with the development team during project scoping and implementation.
• Investigate and document existing system behavior.
• Develop and maintain project documentation.
• Plan and monitor BA processes and activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in BA activities.
• Hands-on experience working with AI tools or AI-driven solutions.
• Strong business and systems analysis skills, with the ability to transform chaotic input into well-structured requirements.
• Good knowledge of the main notations of visual modeling.
• Good knowledge of Agile-based methodologies.
• Good understanding of technologies and principles of building modern applications.
• Experience with UML diagrams.
• Experience with UX prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• First-rate communicator in English.
• Strong can-do attitude, problem-solving skills, and willingness to walk the extra mile.
• High level of self-motivation with minimal supervision required.
• Experience in fixed-price projects.

Nice to Have

• Scrum Master / Project Manager experience.
• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs, including designing, testing, and integrating APIs with systems.
• Experience using API documentation tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
• Understanding of database schemas.

About the Company

We are a US-based ad-tech company focused on modern TV advertising solutions for local media, brands, and agencies. The project is centered around a platform for media planners, buyers, and traffic teams who manage advertising campaigns on linear TV. The platform covers the full campaign lifecycle, including campaign planning, order management, delivery to broadcasters, reporting, and analytics.

This is a niche domain at the intersection of ad-tech and traditional broadcasting, with integrations into key industry systems such as WideOrbit, Imagine Communications, and FreeWheel, as well as work with Nielsen/ComScore data and TVB XML industry standards.
