About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Lawyer with experience in asset management and corporate law in Cyprus to join our team. This role is based in Cyprus and requires fluency in English.
Responsibilities
- Structuring transactions
- Managing legal risks within current businesses
- Opening/managing bank accounts in conjunction with the finance department
- Working with contracts: preparing and agreeing company contracts, analyzing legal risks, participating in negotiations with counterparties
- Interaction with local licensing and permitting authorities
- Interaction with the legal department and external law firms
- Interaction with the company owner
- Fluent English
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Lawyer in Cyprus
- Experience in asset management and corporate law in Cyprus
- Knowledge of the development sector
- Knowledge of Cypriot labor law
